The Radar system is the main sensor of any Maritime Defense system and its Coastal Surveillance Network. The task of such advanced Radar is to detect vessels entering and exiting the country’s coastal EEZ waters with emphasis on small vessels, under rough sea and weather conditions, together with detection of large vessels at further ranges .

The Marine Defense System includes detection and surveillance systems, operated locally or remotely – from (at least) one “Command Center”. This center processes the incoming information and issues operational commands to intercepting forces – at sea and/or at the coast.
