Terrorist or hostile military attacks on harbored vessels can cause major chaos to an active port or harbor’s traffic.  When such vessels are successfully attacked, there is often significant loss of life, extensive vessel damage, and negative impact on continued port or harbor operations.  Being cognizant of this vulnerability, installations are normally protected by comprehensive early-warning, surveillance and target detection systems for surface borne threats.

To complement traditional surface threat offerings, ACS offers advanced underwater systems which protect against divers and miniature submarines.  These technologies not only identify presence of an intruder, but they also identify location, speed and direction allowing for quick countermeasures to be taken.  ACS offers the following technologies to counter underwater threats:
