ACS

The various satellite services ACS offers are controlled by dedicated ground control stations.

The satellite ground control station is responsible for tracking and monitoring the satellite’s in-orbit performance as well as the operation of its payload. The data transmitted by the satellite are analyzed and processed and the results are displayed on the operators’ workstations.

The tracking subsystem follows the satellite through its trajectory while providing a graphic representation of the satellite’s location. Trajectory correction commands and maintenance orders are transmitted through the command channel. Additionally, the ground control station initiates in-orbit tests to verify compliance with the payload specifications.
