Integrated Information & Operations Center (IIOC)

Management of crisis and emergency situations encompasses multiple activities and services such as first responders (fire, ambulance and police), national and municipal infrastructures and utilities (energy, water, sewage, communication and transportation), health and social services, public order, search and rescue operations and so forth. Under certain circumstances, such situations may also encompass the emergency employment of military forces, the involvement of government ministries and organs, foreign elements and international aid agencies and interaction with local and international media.

In order to effectively and successfully manage such situations, the representatives and decision makers of the relevant authorities should operate out of a dedicated information and operations center.

ACS presents the Integrated Information and Operations Center (IIOC) – a state-of-the-art command, control and information center designed and developed specifically to facilitate effective management of crisis, disaster and emergency situations.

The primary function of the IIOC is to receive, concentrate, process, display and disseminate real-time information from an extensive range of sources and sensors. The information pouring into the IIOC is used to support decision making and the on-going management of the situation being handled. This information is delivered by different systems and in different formats, but the processing protocols of the IIOC display it to the users in a user-friendly format that is easy to comprehend and act upon.
