Live Training, Safety Enhancement & After-Action Review System (LTSE-AARS)

Realistic training has always been a primary objective of armed forces generally and air forces in particular.

Fighter pilot training cannot be confined to simulator training alone. The pilots must take to the air and hone their various skills and tactics while actually flying their aircraft. Additionally, today’s battlefields call for close cooperation between aerial, land and naval forces and combined operations involving different service branches are becoming the norm in modern warfare.

Fighter pilots will benefit from an air combat training system that enables them to experience the realistic conditions of the battlefield, to deliver simulated air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons, receive real-time scoring data and cope with enemy forces and threats, including electronic warfare.

The same system should ensure the safety of the training participants and enable an in-depth After-Action Review (AAR).

ACS presents LTSE-AARS – Live Training, Safety Enhancement & After-Action Review System.

LTSE-AARS is an AACMI (Autonomous Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation) system – a dedicated real-time simulation, data recording and safety enhancement system.

Consisting of an airborne pod, a ground debriefing station and an optional real-time monitoring system, this proven system offers cutting-edge, highly realistic air-to-air and air-to-surface weapon simulation, virtual EW simulation and real-time scoring data as well as extensive mission, weapon and threat parameter editing and programming options.

LTSE-AARS ensures cost-effective and fully interoperable training and AAR activities. It provides fighter pilots with a realistic simulation of weapon systems, tactical flight conditions, electronic warfare and enemy forces.

LTSE-AARS features a comprehensive safety mechanism that prevents mid-air collisions, avoids ground obstacles and monitors multiple safety hazards throughout the training activity.

Featuring extensive AAR (After-Action Review) capabilities, including detailed graphic reconstruction of the training activity, LTSE-AARS interfaces with other training resources to provide a comprehensive training, simulation and AAR system.

LTSE-AARS has been successfully installed and operated on numerous fighter aircraft & trainer models.
