ACS presents NOMSS – Network Operations Management & Support System.

NOMSS is a state-of-the-art software platform for managing multiple-technology networks through a single application. Based on a “Manager-of-Managers” concept, the system utilizes existing Operations Support Systems & COTS products to provide a comprehensive and cost-effective network and service management solution.

A graphic user interface enables even operators with a low skill level to operate the system efficiently and keeps the operating team small and streamlined.

A dedicated, robust Root Cause Analyzer enables the user to promptly detect, isolate & resolve network failures.

An end-to-end service activation capability enables prompt provisioning and activation of services and a comprehensive planning application enables planning, validation & activation of network updates with a minimum of errors and through optimal utilization of resources.

NOMSS fully complies with the NGOSS standards and its information model conforms to the TMF SID (Shared Information & Data) specifications. Interfaces with external management systems utilize such protocols as CORBA, MTNM, SNMP, SOAP and MODBUS.

Standard commercial system functions include service assurance (fault management, performance management, Root Cause Analysis, impact analysis and service quality), service configuration and service fulfillment.

In addition to the standard commercial functions, the dedicated military functions offered by NOMSS include contingency planning support, management of field forces & narrowband networks and information displays for decision makers at the tactical & strategic levels.
