Rapid Deployment Dual Sensor ISR System (RDDS-ISRS)
Certain military, security and law enforcement operations require local ISR support. Such support is required, for example, in out-of-area operations, special operations behind enemy lines, emergency response situations and any other activity where ISR coverage is nonexistent, insufficient or unavailable.
As the forces involved in such operations cannot transport bulky or heavyweight equipment in addition to their essential gear, the ISR configuration to be employed in these situations should be compact, lightweight, easy to deploy and operate and self-contained in terms of power supply.
ACS presents RDDS-ISRS – Rapid Deployment Dual Sensor ISR System.
RDDS-ISRS is a compact, lightweight, self-contained Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) system specifically designed for easy transport and rapid field deployment with the intention of providing ISR support to tactical military forces, security and law enforcement units.
RDDS-ISRS incorporates a ground motion detection Radar with a day/night electro-optical sensor and built-in GPS in a man-portable unit powered by its own battery pack.
Carried and operated by a team of two troopers, RDDS-ISRS may be deployed in the field and operated either locally or remotely through a friendly, simple-to-operate, touch screen user interface.
Offering short-to-medium range coverage and 8 hours of continuous operation, RDDS-ISRS offers effective ISR support for intelligence gathering operations, ambush operations, special operations, HLS activities and any other activity where local ISR support is required.
